The rezoning for a 73-unit townhouse development at the corner of Sycamore and Appling (RZ 25-001) was denied this evening by the Sugar Hill City Council.
Council Member Gary Pirkle made the motion to deny, seconded by Council Member Meg Avery.
Council Members Taylor Anderson and Alvin Hicks voted against Pirkle’s motion to deny.
Council Member Joshua Page was acting in his role as Mayor Pro Tem tonight due to the absence of Mayor Brandon Hembree.
Page broke the tie vote by voting in favor of Pirkle’s motion to deny.
